Techno-Challenge To Tease Scouts', Parents' Brains

Pack 78's October pack meeting will introduce our first "Techno-Challenge" in which scouts and their parents will use their engineering and building skills to create a device to compete with other Techno Challenge teams.

The Cubmaster is still keeping a pretty tight lid on what exactly the scouts will be building, but we do know some details...

• Scouts and their parents will break up into teams for the competition, four to five teams in all.
• Each team will be given a box of raw materials from which to complete their "device".
• There will be a time limit for completion of the "device".
• Once the time limit has expired, teams will stage a friendly competition to see who's "device" performs the best.
• Ribbons will be given to all scout builders.
